Dine Out Boston is starting today, so I headed out to Davio'S in Lynnfield to kick the week off.
Not serving outside on the patio today even if the temp has gone from 10 to 20 degrees at noon.
It's Sunday Brunch time, so you get a cinnamon popover and cinnamon butter, and that would be fine if I was having brunch, but I'm not.
I started with Crispy Almond Calamari, Arugula Chimichurri, Smoked Tomato Vinaigrette. Perfectly cooked calamari with both rings and tentacles. I liked the Smoked Tomato Vinaigrette better than the Chimichurri. Even the hot peppers were delicious.
This was followed by Seared Atlantic Salmon Crispy Potato Cake, Asparagus, Herb Butter. Salmon was cooked a perfect medium rare and was delicious. The grilled asparagus was wonderful as was the potato cake.
A delicious Chocolate Orange Mousse, Kataifi Nest, Candied Orange finished off this excellent meal.
A trio of mignardises arrived with the check. Chocolate truffle, cookie and more chocolate.
