Only wanted something light today so I decided to see how Taipei Gourmet in Lexington does the very common Taiwanese appetizer Salt and Pepper Chicken.
A good amount of food, nice crispy outside. There was also a good amount of fried basil and thinly sliced birdseye chilies in there to make this dish very exciting! It looked really good and the chicken was very juicy and tender, but there was a lot of bone splinters in there and, unfortunately, a lot of the chunks did have very little chicken on them but it was tasty. I did know it was served on the bone but didn't expect mostly bone.
