Osteria Nino Burlington

Osteria Nino in Burlington is the latest addition to the 3rd Avenue complex in Burlington and is located just down the road from Wegmans.

In addition to the dining rooms and the bar area, there is also seating on the patio where they have one additional pizza oven. The interior is modern and sleek with good quality furniture. There is additional seating in front of the open hearth and the pizza oven.

The serve lunch Mon-Fri and Brunch on the weekend and the menu changes daily and everything is sourced locally, according to my waitress. Here is the 6 hr. Meatballs ($12). Pork, Beef, Bread and Grana. This was outstandingly delicious! Tender and flavorful meatballs in a really rich sauce and the accompanied focaccia bread were good for soaking up the sauce.

Another dish to recommend is the Cacio e Pepe ($12), which is house-made guitar string pasta, pecorino cheese, and black pepper and that's all. The pasta was cooked perfectly and this Romana dish was executed flawlessly. They are not cheap, but everything was of excellent quality even if the pasta serving was on the smaller side for the price.
