This is the second location for Bottega Fiorentina, located in Newton, they have had a restaurant in Coolidge Corner for quite a while. They just opened here on June 5th.
It looked nice and one attraction was that on Wednesday and Sundays they have pasta and any sauce for $4.99.
The interior was nice but there wasn't an abundance of seating options.
I went with Linguine with Bolognese Sauce. With it comes a piece of Foccacia but unfortunately it was so stale that it wasn't edible. If you think that the bolognese looks like a tomato sauce, it's because it was just that, with a few pieces of ground meat added. A very few pieces. The fettucini was unsalted and overcooked, not even close to al dente. I was assuming that they would use the Wednesday and Sunday special to showcase their food and not to turn people off. I was looking forward to trying their different sauces but will now give them a wide berth. Not even worth $4.99.
