I haven't been to Chettinad Indian Grill in Burlington for almost a year, and I was curious to see if anything has changed. Well, the website now looks much better.
The vegetarian part of the buffet is unchanged. They still have papads, but they were a tad oily today.
Protein section that still sported the goat curry (mostly bones).
The Onion Pakora looked really good but was stone cold. I managed to snag some when it was refilled, and it was really good. The Masala Vada was nice and crisp on the outside but was dry and unseasoned on the inside.
They do have some of the best and tastiest Tandoori Chicken around. The Chicken 65 was seasoned nicely but could have been spicier. The Potato Fry was perfectly cooked potatoes with a super nice seasoning. The Palak Dal was also really tasty. I didn't get a Dosa today, later noticed a sign at the buffet saying that you had to ask for one if you wanted one.
This aggravates me a bit. If you didn't make you liquid dishes so thin, then the sign wouldn't be needed. BTW, the Rasam was excellent. The price is unchanged at $10.95, and you still have to pay at the counter.
