FF many years and now the interior is completely redone. It's bright and impeccably clean. I had to ask what was the difference between my lunch and the Fish & Chips for $7.95. The fish is cod in the Fish & Chips, so I have to go back and see if haddock is worth the $3 upcharge.
No, another picture of a cup of clam chowder, how annoying. Well, usually clam chowder is potatoes with added clams. Here it's clams with added potatoes. It's also nice and creamy and well seasoned.
Haddock Box ($10.95). The haddock was perfectly cooked, and the fries were good. The fish was as good as anything you get up in Essex. The tartar sauce was fantastic, really delicious. I didn't pay attention, so I got the fish on top of the fries, and you can't eat it that way. Should have asked for it to be served on a plate.

Hi Peter, I had recommended Lobster Claw to you last summer on Chowhound and you actually revisited it then All the places you go to, youre bound to forgetr a visit now and then! But I am glad you liked it. The fish chowder is good too. CHalk full of fish. Its not on the menu but they also fry up salmon and swordfish on most days, which is not a common option and it is so moist and delicious and good portion size. Also if you like fresh, skinny, greasy onion rings these are an old fashioned style treat. The baskets are a good choice since you get the fries and slaw. Thanks for all your reviews!
