Uno Chicago Grill has a Wednesday special during August, so I visited their Woburn location today. They are in the Woburn mall that will see significant changes coming.
The special is their Lobster Roll Platter for $9.99. "Two New England favorites on one plate! A traditional lobster roll with a cup of clam chowder, fries and apple cider coleslaw". Well, the slaw didn't make it. The chowder was very tasty but also very thin. I had the chowder before and then it was thick and creamy. The coated fries were delicious. The lobster roll closely resembled the one in the picture, and that was a surprise. As expected, it was claw and knuckle meat, but it was light on the mayo and no fillers. Some lettuce and celery in the bottom. By their own admittance, the lobster is flash frozen within four hours of it being caught. I thought it was fine, especially for $10.
A closeup of the roll. The bun was properly buttered and toasted. I'll go back again.
