Royal India Bistro Lexington

On my visit to Royal India Bistro in Lexington last week the Royal Mixed Appetizers wasn't really a success, but I know they are really good with other dishes.

Goa Shrimp Curry ($8.50). "The famous shrimp curry of Goa, prepared with freshly ground coconut and an array of masterfully blended spices". The rest of the world, including Madhur Jaffrey, calls it Goan Shrimp Curry. I asked for it spicy, and to my surprise, it was respectably spicy. Kudos to the kitchen for that. The curry was excellent, redolent with spices and coconut. The rice was light and fluffy.
