Al Maidah Cuisine in Burlington took over what used to be Sing Ching that I think later was taken over by some former employees. This didn't last, Almaidah Cuisine has been open for nine months under new ownership. There have been what, 7ish different Indian restaurants here. Can't they take a hint?
They have a nice sign that should be visible from Rte 3a at night. There is parking but not in abundance.
This is the buffet ($10.99). The empty containers were later filled with rice and 1/2 Naan. Nothing inside has changed since my last visit.
The other side of the buffet is not used.
The Tandoori chicken was a winner, moist and well seasoned with a hint of heat. The potato pakora was old and bland. The onion pakora was very tasty but also old and dry. The only good thing about the Madras chicken was that it was dark chicken. The Cabbage mutter was excellent, well seasoned and tasty. The Aloo (potato) tomato curry was also very good. The Bhindi Nyodala? Seems to have been around for a while. The okra was kind of dry. I also tried the Chicken Biryani, and it was excellent. Dirty plates were cleared away quickly, but I had to ask for a water refill.
