They are located in the Arcade Mall in Brookline with no signage anywhere, not even at the restaurant. Is this the right place?
This is a very small boutique shop with some table seating and also counter seating. You can see the woks in the back that are used to cook the ramen in real Sapporo Style.
I went with the Tan Tan Ramen ($13). "Spicy sesame ramen. Sautéed nappa cabbage, sliced onion, diced pickled vegetable. Topped with ground pork, corn, cilantro, pickled mustard leaf, white scallions, wakame". It might look spicy but it wasn't really. The noodles are imported from Japan and were nice and toothsome. The broth was very good, really rich and with a nice umami feel. You get a minuscule amount of pork, doesn't really fit with the price. Overall I thought this was an excellent bowl of ramen even if it's on the pricier side.
There was a little Sunday Farmers Market going on the outside. Did I mention that it was freezing inside?
This is the whole menu. Three different ramen offering plus a plethora of extra toppings.
