I haven't been back to Sakura in Winchester for more than a year. It started to be more rice and less fish in their Nigiri.
They have private parking.
Sushi bar in the back and dining room out front. The AYCE Sushi ($14.95) includes a lot of cooked items from the kitchen.
The last time I was here, I got six gigantic scallops that had a nice texture and tasted of scallops. It turned out to be "extruded" scallops, but despite that, they were very nice. This time I got four heavily deep-fried rubbery somethings.
The Spicy Crunchy Maki was mostly crunchy parts with tuna mush. The maki was actually dry due to all the crunch. The Nigiri now had a better ratio of fish to rice. The fish was fresh. Not sure why the red snapper got sliced scallions on top.
