Bacci's Stoneham

Bacci's of Stoneham has reopened with both indoor and outdoor seating. The lunch prices have increased significantly.

You still get the super fresh garlic bread with a puddle of oil on the bottom of the basket. Utensils and salt and pepper comes in a wire basket.

Linguini with Clams (12.50). Sauce (Marinara, Fra Diavolo, or Scampi) and I picked Scampi. The scampi sauce was very good, and the linguine was also cooked well. The chopped clams were very tender. On my first visit here, this was $9 and you got clams in the shell. I think this was a bigger portion.

Currently, no more parking in the back since this is now the outside seating. There is plenty of parking on the side streets. I had a very pleasant lunch.

New Brothers Deli Danvers

New Brothers Restaurant & Deli in Danvers has reopened with indoor and outdoor seating. Currently no lunch specials or daily specials.

Yes, they have outdoor seating.

Plastic shields along the ordering line and tables far apart with every other booth blocked off. Not very busy at lunch.

I visited for the 2 egg breakfast with the house-made corned beef hash ($8.95) but all prices have increased by a dollar so $9.95. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and so were the skinless potatoes. The hash was good, and it was plenty of it and they use brisket. Utensils are handed to you at the register. Glad to see them open again, their pork dinner and kokinisto are excellent.

Cafe Landwer Boston

Cafe Landwer is located in Cleveland Circle and they serve on their patio and today was a prime day to resume lunch in a restaurant. First time since March 14. Not sure how I feel about this, maybe a tad too early for me. The reason I hiked all the way here was that I had a NIFT for $15 off. If you want to get in on the NIFT thing, contact me and I can give you a code for you $30 off gift. I have been doing this for years and have found lots of restaurants. The restaurant offering seems a bit sparse currently.

There is metered parking in a lot close by.

A pretty useless picture of the interior, and I forgot to take a picture of the patio. Actually, you can see the patio in the first picture.

Ordering was an ordeal. Scan a QR code and you get the menu. No QR reader. The WiFi I found was to slow to download. Their WiFi gave me incorrect password even after the hostess typed it in. Anyway, after manually taking my order, the Landwer’s Famous Schnitzel (16) arrived. "Crispy breaded chicken breast with a choice of side dish". Since the crushed potatoes had the skin on them, I went with fries. The fries were excellent and even seasoned. The schnitzel was big and really crispy but dry. The no contact service was fine.
