I had a hankering for some calamari for lunch today, and I have been eyeing them at Felicia's of the North End in Stoneham for a while.
Only in America can you make a meal out of an appetizer! Fried Calamari ($9.95) was a big plate of perfectly cooked calamari with a very light batter, normally comes with marinara sauce but when I asked if I could have tartar sauce instead, the waitress responded with "Of course you can!". There is always service with a smile here. The only drawback was that it was rings only, and I asked if the tentacles were optional, but she said they only do the rings. Too bad, I really like them, but this was still a very nice dish with lots of calamari.
