I haven't been to Capital Grille in Burlington for Restaurant Week for years but decided to take a chance this year since the menu did look good. Boston Dine Out is $20 for a three-course lunch.
A cup of cream, aka Clam Chowder, was really good, thick with tender clams and nicely seasoned. You also get the seriously good homemade potato chips in the bar.
Dry Aged Sirloin with Roasted Pepper, Fresh Mozzarella and Arugula Salad ordered rare, and it was cooked as ordered. I must admit I was expecting something way smaller than what I got. This was a seriously big piece of sirloin, very nicely seasoned and without the fat strip that so often is left on to make up the weight. The salad was also very pleasant and tasty.
Classic Crème Brûlée with a thin crackly crust was also very good, nice and smooth and the caramel on top was thin enough not to make it overly sweet. This was a seriously good deal, and I'll be back next week. Every table in the bar area was taken today.
