Swanton Street Diner Winchester

Swanton Street Diner in Winchester has been here forever. Parking can be scarce, but I scored a spot just outside. They have free WiFi. Not sure what the point is in having 16 character password when it can be seen from the street?

They are a bit out of the center, and parking can be a problem.

The menu is typical for a diner, including breakfast all day. This is the Steak and Egg ($9.95) from the Diner menu. Well, it turned out to be steak tips with eggs over easy, homefries and toast. The eggs were cooked nicely, and the home fries were tasty. The steak tips, on the other hand, even if they were cooked as ordered, was incredibly tough. The second one was a little better but still hard to cut even with a steak knife.

Interior is OK, they also have relatively large counter seating.

This is the nice front dining room. The two top was taken just seconds before I got there, so I missed out on the good seating.
