Gin U Dee Stoneham

Thanks to the web I knew that Gin U Dee in Stoneham would have a special on Friday but unfortunately I couldn't get there.

There is only on street parking but I seem to always find a spot close by.

I called them this morning and they still had some Stewed Pork Leg Special ($9.80 inc tax) left. It was served with some Chinese broccoli, hard boiled egg and sambal on the side. Normally this is served with fresh garlic and Thai Chilies on the side but this was fine with me. The egg was overboiled and had started to go green around the yolk. The pork was luscious and tasty and yes, there was fat and skin involved. I'm now on the list to be notified when he cooks something authentic that's not on the menu.
