Za Arlington

Za in Arlington only does salads and pizza, and that's it. "At Za we are committed to working with local farmers and using only the highest quality ingredients". I haven't tried their salads, but all the pizzas have been excellent.

The evil parking meters haven't made it this far. There are only street parking and not a whole lot of it. They have outdoor seating in warmer seasons.

The inside is warm and inviting. The blackboard list all the specials. They change depending on what's available locally. The website is also kept up to date with the specials.

On the specials menu, I spied the "Chorizo, Dill Pickle, Caramelized Onion, Swiss Cheese, Mustard Cream and Parsley" Pizza ($14) and who can resist that? It should really have read Dill Pickle, Chorizo since there were more pickles than chorizo. After the first few bites, I go: This is way to pickly! However, I soon went from that to This is a great pizza! The flavors melded together to something delicious. This is such a nice and mellow place.

It really tried really hard to snow today, but it only got to flurries. I like the pizzas at Otto's up the street, but there is no parking. Any locals with parking hints?
