The snow finally let up so I decided to walk down to my local Vietnamese restaurant, Pho #1, for some Thai food. The walking bit might have been a mistake, there was sleeting freezing rain and of course I had the wind against me walking down there.
Wild Boar Pork. Stir-fried sliced pork with string beans, mushrooms, red bell pepper, bamboo shoots and eggplant in a Thai kang pa curry sauce. The pork was very tender and the beans were crispy and apart from the miserable looking mushrooms this was a very enjoyable lunch. Should have been spicier but barely got up to one pepper and the walk home was much better.
