Dac Biet Beef noodle soup, medium size ($6.95). "Large sized bowl of our popular beef noodle soup, with combining sliced rare eye round, well-done flank, brisket, tendon and tripe" is what the menu says. At best, I would call this a passable rendering of Pho. The broth is OK but lacks the depth of flavor, only a few pieces of tripe and tendon and the brisket was mostly missing as was the well-done flank. What used to be chili oil in the container up top is now just dry chili flakes. Only redeeming quality is that it's cheap and within walking distance.

Pho #1 Woburn
Some serious snow this morning, so I'm not going anywhere except walking down to my local Vietnamese restaurant, Pho #1 in Woburn.
