I haven't had the Spicy Taipei Style Beef Sirloin in Noodle Soup ($8.59) for about 2 years, so it was time for a revisit at Taipei Gourmet in Lexington. Ordered it extra spicy and it wasn't really but the broth was good as was the noodles but the beef wasn't too good, lots of icky bits and the beef was stringy. The menu said Taipei style and this type of beef is very commonly served.
