Sichuan Gourmet Billerica

I have decided to eat my way through the new chef's specials at Sichuan Gourmet in Billerica, so that's where I headed on a sunny but not too warm Sunday.



I started with an order of Sichuan Wonton with Spicy Chili Sauce ($5.95). The wontons were nice, but the sauce was just mildly spicy. Today I got the pickled veggies that were absent last Sunday.



From the New Specials Menu, I ordered the Smoky Pork Belly w. Spicy Black Beans ($13.95) and white rice. I must admit that you get a serious amount of rice for 99 cents! The pork belly was smoky and delicious, but it was on the milder side despite being marked as two peppers on the menu. They were almost full at lunch today.
