Simply Khmer Lowell

Time for some soup and wings at Simply Khmer in Lowell and it wasn't very busy today, but at least they were open.

It used to say "Open 7 days a week" to the left, but that's obviously not true anymore.

Kuy-Tiev Special Regular size ($6.95 was $5.95 back in December) is a big bowl of Rice noodles, beef, meatballs, seafood, bean sprouts, cilantro, scallion, in a house broth. The broth was a bit weak today, but the noodles were nice and firm. A couple of fresh shrimps, squid, fake crab, some slices of fish cake and meatballs.

This will brighten up anyone's day, Spicy Wings (Now $9.95 was $7.50 at my last visit). Crispy, spicy absolutely delicious wings that were again on the drier side but not as bad as on my last visit. With the prices going up and the wings being marginal, I might have to change my opinion about this place. When the noodle soup was $4.95, it was a deal even if it was back in 2012, but now I'm not so sure.
