Taipei Gourmet Lexington

Taipei Gourmet in Lexington was pretty busy on a sunny and, finally warm Saturday, with people enjoying the fairly extensive Taiwanese version of Dim Sum, Dian Xin.

Yes, the sky was that blue today and the sun was finally warm, so it was a top-down ride today. They have some nice outside seating, and some people were brave enough to take advantage of that.

I went with the Steamed Lionheads Meatballs ($11.99) from the daily specials menu. I have wanted to try them for a while, and they didn't disappoint. They were very tasty and flavorful and really soft and was served in a clay pot that was piping hot and comes with brown sauce and some cabbage. An order of white rice ($.99) completed the meal.

Interior now looks nice, and you can see the owner, Ewa, at the register. Three waiters took care of the customers today. I'm sure they love the outside seating.
