Sichuan Gourmet Billerica

I could barely get into the parking lot at Sichuan Gourmet in Billerica yesterday, and there was no hope for a table at all, so I decided to visit them today instead for a belated Sunday lunch.



From the Chefs Specials Menu, Dry-Braised Mushrooms with Pork belly in Spicy Sauce ($13.95). I must admit that this wasn't the best-looking dish I have ever seen. I was hoping for pork belly with mushrooms, but I got exactly what the menu said, tons of mushrooms with some pork belly thrown in. Despite having a lot of inedible tough stems in there, the edible parts was delicious, a little bit spicy, and there were also some Sichuan peppercorns added.
