FuGaKyu Lynnfield

Traffic on Rte 128 was fine going to FuGaKyu in Lynnfield but it got me on the way back. Completely at a standstill in the Wakefield area, so it was off to the backroads.

I got my usual table with a view of the commons. Beautiful day but cold and windy.

The salad is fresh and the dressing is OK.

FUGAKYU NOODLE. Served with salad & fruit ($12.50). This is a pick your own with choices for Toppings, Noodle and Broth. I chose Pork Katsu (special request), Udon Noodle and Curry Broth. What's with all the carrots? Apart from that it was delicious, noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was delicious. Where is the Pork Katsu?

The Pork Katsu arrives on its own plate, perfectly cooked and with a nice crunchy panko crust. It was a good sized piece as well. Service is always good here in this very pleasant restaurant.
