Lucia Ristorante Winchester

Lucia Ristorante is another restaurant in Winchester that has been here forever. They only serve lunch Thurs-Saturday, so I decided to pay them a visit on this sunny and mild Friday.

The are conveniently located in downtown Winchester with free on-street parking.

I was looking forward to having lunch downstairs with the formally dressed waiters, but they now serve lunch in the bar area upstairs. It was pleasant and bright on this sunny day.

Nice booths from where you can admire the murals on the ceiling.

Warm bread arrives with real butter and freshly grated Parmigiano. Of course you get linen napkins.

I ordered the Calamari Pirata ($12.25). "Fresh calamari sauteed in a light tomato sauce and served over linguini". The calamari was nicely cooked and seasoned as was the linguini. The tomato sauce was really good and fresh and light. This was a very pleasant lunch in a nice restaurant.

This is the more formal dining room on the other side of the bar.
