Osteria Nino Burlington

Osteria Nino in Burlington introduced a lower cost Lunch menu a while back and I was looking forward to trying it and since it was such a nice day today, I decided to pay them a visit.

The have pizza's and sandwiches and I decided to try the "the nino burger" (8.95). "house made mozzarella, pancetta, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, arugula, brioche bun." It was served with some excellent French fries and a pickle. The burger was cooked as ordered and seasoned properly. The bun was very light but held up fine to the burger. The burger was a beefy and loosely packed patty. This was an excellent lunch and the lunch pizzas looked to be of a decent size. A bonus was that the weather was so nice that I could have lunch outside on the patio.
