Latitude 43 Gloucester

This month The Serenitee Group loaded their Reward cards with a free cup/bowl of chowder from Latitude 43 in Gloucester, so off I went.

Latitude 43 are located smack in the middle of Gloucester's harbor, and they have off street parking. There is also the Minglewood Tavern in the same building. It doesn't take much longer for me to get here than for example Newton. Shouldn't the name be Latitude 42 since that's where Gloucester is located?

Look at that cool octopus above the sunken Sushi bar.

The inside is bright, and I really like the blond furniture.

My free clam chowder and of course, I went with the bowl. "Jeff’s Clam Chowder Applewood smoked bacon ($5/8)". It was smoky and really delicious with finely minced clams and potatoes.

This was followed by Fried Shrimp Po Boy ($15) from the lunch menu. "Spicy remoulade & creole mustard, on a toasted brioche bun with fries". The shrimp was cooked well and the remoulade was really tasty. The fries was crispy on the outside and soft and potatoey on the inside.

There is a Gloucester lifeboat with a metal keel hanging in front of the open kitchen.

There is outside seating on the deck that wraps around the corner.

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.
