Punjab Arlington

Punjab in Arlington is such a nice place. Reasonable priced, good food, great service and an excellent location. And free on-street parking.

Nice view of Arlington center on a sunny day (No, it's not my Audi). Why didn't I take the window table? It's right under the AC vents..

Soups good, the chutney is HOT and the china and silverware are nice.

Chicken Tikka Masala is excellent, have a nice hint of smoke, probably from when the chicken was cooked in the Tandoori oven and also a bit of heat with traces of what appears to be Chipotle. Really good rendering of a traditional British dish. British? There are claims that a Pakistani chef, Ali Ahmed Aslam, proprietor of the Shish Mahal restaurant in Park Road in the city of Glasgow was the inventor of this dish.
