Pho & Spice Waltham

Finally decided to try the Bánh mì since I wanted something lighter today. On my last visit, I did ask what kind of pork they used and I thought that I got an affirmative on pork belly.



What I got was the normal slightly sweet caramelized pork and slightly pickled carrots and daikon. Underneath was some cucumber spears and some cilantro. The french bread was fresh and crunchy and really good, but the whole sandwich lacked wow and got me wondering what's the big deal with the Bánh mì that everyone loves? This was underwhelming to say the least.
