I decided to spend Sunday morning going nuts by trying to find a parking spot around Harvard Square since there were a couple of places I wanted to try for lunch. What a nightmare that was but I ended up finding a space on a parallel street to Dumpling House in Cambridge.
They are located on Mass Ave a short ride from Harvard Square. There is also the original restaurant in China Town.
I started with the Steamed Bacon with Fresh Garlic ($7.95). Big portion but lacked a bit in flavor and could have done with more garlic. Terrible knife skills.
Next was the Szechuan Dried Spicy Chicken ($12.95). This was a good dish, nice tender and crisp chicken with some fried scallions in addition to the chilies. Not sure were the Sichuan part comes from, the were no Sichuan peppercorn present. It was still a big portion and a good tasting dish.
The place is good sized and was incredibly busy today.
