Ferry Street Malden

Ferry Street Food and Drink in Malden opened in mid '14 to much acclaim. It's run by husband and wife team and Johnson & Wales graduates Jason and Shannon Ladd. They wanted to create an establishment that felt like they were entertaining guests in their own home. This place has been the former home to Revere Knitting Mills to most recently various neighborhood watering holes. There is even a rumor that the ghost of a former patron still haunts his seat at the bar.

They are a nice addition to Malden's dining scene that seems to be very Asian dominated.

The nice dining area.

The bar area is dominated by the nice high-tops. I got a nice window table.

This is from the brunch area and doesn't really show off their eclectic dining menu but they only do Lunch/Brunch on Sat-Sun. Bacon and Eggs ($10) are perfect for a Sunday lunch. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy as ordered and the thick-cut bacon was nice and crisp. I really like their version of home fries and they were also seasoned nicely as was the eggs. The lightly toasted sourdough bread was very fresh. I do believe that everything is made in-house. Service was nice and friendly.
