Bellino's Trattoria Wakefield

Bellino's Trattoria in Wakefield is located just prior to the big rotary. There is off street free parking available.

They have patio seating available to the left with a nice view of the lake.

A nice bread basket arrives promptly with some nice warm rosemary focaccia. There is dipping oil available on the table. You also get the minuscule paper napkin that is rolled around the silverware. Don't they realize how tacky this is?

I ordered the Fusilli alla (their spelling) Vodka ($11.99) from the lunch menu. "Sautéed chicken, hickory smoked bacon and peas in a vodka sauce over homemade fusilli topped with asiago cheese and parsley". The homemade pasta was excellent and was cooked really well and the sauce was seriously good with enough bacon even for me. The chicken was on the dry side but despite that, it was a nice lunch even if it was a bit on the expensive side.

The dining room looked a bit dated.
