Atlantic Sea Grill Acton

Atlantic Sea Grill in Acton is under new management and today was a nice day for a road trip so..

They are set back a bit from the Great Road (Rte 119) and they looked nice. Plenty of free parking.

There is a little patio, no idea how to get there.

The dining room was very pleasant and they had some really nice artwork on the walls.

The bar area, there is more seating to the right.

I was going to start with some clam chowder but then I saw the Moqueca Soup (4.50) and had to ask what it was. Turns out to be a Brazilian tomato-based fish soup with chunks of salmon and swordfish. It was a little bit spicy and really delicious, glad I tried it.

I also ordered the CALAMARI BASKET (9). "Lightly dusted, deep-fried to a golden brown and served with chipolte aioli sauce." Best Calamari ever! Perfectly cooked and even the light batter had been seasoned and they didn't hold back on the chipotle in the aioli sauce either. Could have been drained for a couple of minutes longer, there was oil on the bottom of the plate. Despite that, this is worth a detour, it was soo good. The salad was just undressed leaves.

There is an actual fish market in the back and they also sell baklavas and I was going to pick one up on my way out, but after standing there for a while with no one paying attention I had to leave without it.
