Farm Grill & Rotisserie Newton

On my first visit to Farm Grill & Rotisserie in Newton, they were closed for renovations but are now open again.

They certainly look like a Greek restaurant, wonder how the food will be. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot.

The inside was a bit of a surprise, looked more like a cafeteria than a restaurant but it was impeccable clean and the tables were quickly wiped down and I didn't even have to bus my own table, my tray was picked up after I was done.

The cafeteria experience continues, you order at the counter and then pick up your food when they yell your number.

They are a rotisserie so I went for the QUARTER DARK (LEG & THIGH) (8.00). "Served with 2 Hot Sides and Greek Salad". I went with the Roasted Potatoes and something spinachy. The Pita bread was old and stale. The Greek Salad was excellent with lots of cheese and a nice dressing but it needed some work to distribute the dressing evenly. The chicken was nice with crispy skin and the roasted potatoes were seriously lemony and they were not overcooked but nice and firm. Not really sure what the green blob was but it tasted vaguely of spinach but was otherwise bland and watery.

They were closed for renovations but they obviously didn't renovate the chairs at the island in the middle.
