Buffalo Wild Wings Burlington

Time for a second visit to Buffalo Wild Wings in Burlington and what better day than on Wings Tuesday when the wings are only 70¢ each. You still have to order them in increments of five.

If Buffalo could fly. Gorgeous day today again.

Last time I was here was on half price Friday and the place was a madhouse. Today, not so much.

I signed up for their Buffalo Circle and got a free app as a reward and I went with the BEER-BATTERED ONION RINGS (8.29). "Thick-cut onion rings dunked in beer batter then fried to a golden crisp. Served with our southwestern ranch dressing". The rings were a tad soggy on the inside but tasted nice and much to my surprise, I really liked the dressing even if I'm not normally a fan of ranch dressing.

The Asian Zing "sweet meets heat: a chili pepper, soy and ginger sauce." This was a generic sweet and hot sauce, fairly pleasant but not really memorable.

Last time I had the Medium Buffalo Wings and it was time to step up so I went for the Hot version today. "Our famous wings are literally “spun” by hand to ensure each one is perfectly coated in the BUFFALO WILD WINGS sauce or dry seasoning you choose." For a place that brags about how well the wings are coated, they were a bit unevenly coated, the back one was almost devoid of sauce. Both orders of wings were cooked nicely and yes, these were HOT, really hot but still very tasty, not sure if I will try the Blazing Hot version. On Wings Tuesday you get celery and carrots but the dipping dressing is extra. Update: the carrots and celery were by courtesy of the waitress, they are extra on Tuesdays.

  1. My wife and I go to the one located on Route 1 in Saugus. She says you need to try the mango habanero wings. She loves hot foods and eats them like candy. I find them a bit on the hot side but I can manage to get a few down!

    1. I tried the mango habanero today and good grief, were they hot! Luckily I got a lot of blue cheese, otherwise I might have expired on the spot. Very tasty but not for the faint of heart.

    2. Hi Peter.
They push my limits too. I always have to try a couple when we are there so my wife can have the enjoyment of saying "wimp" when I break out in a sweat and my eyes bug out. The habanero smell is awesome and the flavors are great, but like you say, they are just a bit over-the-top,for me. Anybody who really likes Hot Stuff and is looking for a challenge, those are a must try.

  2. If you want more sauce we've been told to request them "extra wet." (There is an upcharge for this, I think it is 50 cents for a "small" order.)
