They are located on a one-way street, with only 15 minutes parking. There is plenty of metered parking on the cross street a little bit further down.
Again I find myself in a place with oddly shaped dining rooms.
You order at the counter, and when the food is ready, it's brought out to you. It was nice and bright and not a wobbly table to be found.
Cuban ($12). "Ham, pork loin, gruyere, pickles, mustard relish with tomato, onion & toasted cumin on ciabatta". All sandwiches come with a choice of greens, chips or house potatoes. House potatoes turned out to be home fries. Excellent sandwich with some really good pork loin. The bread was very good. The potatoes were cooked nicely and were tasty.
They serve breakfast all day and have a wide selection of coffee, tea, juices, smoothies and milkshakes. This is the Open Faced Benedict ($10). "[choice of] corned beef or asparagus & black bean hash, poached eggs, hollandaise, crispy leeks, marinated roasted roma tomato, griddled rye". Breakfast sandwiches are served with house potatoes & seasonal fruit. The fruit didn't make it. Isn't a Benedict always open faced? I swapped the rye for English Muffin Bread that was not what I expected but turned out to be very good. Their breads are baked in-house. The eggs were poached nicely, and the corned beef was very tasty and tender. I liked the crispy leeks, nice touch. A very nice sandwich and filling.
Condiment and cutlery station with the draft cocktails in the back.
There is seating in the kitchen area, but I'm not sure if it's used.
Did I mention that there is free popcorn? It's the small details...
They also sell this adorable bamboo cup.
